Ciderfest Weekend

So this past week my good friend Paul came up to New Hampshire to do a little New England skating. And we had some great New England weather.... it was raining on and off so we had to make the best of it. We started off by going to the Plymouth skate park when it was dry enough. Then on Friday we headed out to South Berwick, Maine for Matt's party he has every year, "Cider Fest." On the way we had to stop at Rye Airfield to skate the largest indoor skate park in New England. That night it was poring rain, but luckily we made it just in time to skate for about an hour. After that it was off to Maine to press some Cider. That night there was live music, with some awesome jams from Peach, Matt, and I, along with Matt's dad and friends. On Sunday we headed back to Plymouth, exhausted from an awesome weekend of skating and partying. Only to skate the Plymouth park one more time until dark. With some awesome tricks being landed with barely any light. Jake's switch FS Kickflip, and Pauls 360 Kickflip over the gap, bank to bank. Watch the video and enjoy, filming done by Paul, Mitch, Matt, and I. Hope you like it.

Finally... no rain! Waterville here we come!

Today we finally were able to have a good skate session. It was a nice cold fall day, we warmed up at the Plymouth skatepark. Then we headed up to Waterville to meet some PSU skaters. The session started off with some mini ramp tricks. Christian started the session off with some big BS Crooks up this box next to the euro gap. After this people started getting psyched. It quickly escalated with a line by Jake, Nollie Kickflip to Nollie Heelflip FS Tailslide. After that people were getting pumped up. Scott soon nailed his FS Kickflip Transition quarter pipe to quarter pipe. Then I landed a Heelflip up the euro gap. Followed by a new trick for me at Waterville, an ollie up to FS Boardslide to fakie the flat of the flat down rail. Matt was killing it on the mini rippin long 5-0 grinds. The day ended when it was getting dark, I finally landed a FS 50-50 Nollie FS Shuv-it out after to many tries. Then Jake landed his big BS Feeble through the kink of the Flat Down rail on the pyramid. Over all great day of skating! People were killing it landing lots of tricks. We were obviously itching to skate since to week long of rain. Check out some photos on my flicker photostream... Link below

Rain, Rain, Rain

Well it has been raining now on and off for the past six days. My initial reason for starting this blog was to show people a little about the Plymouth, NH skate scene. But unfortunately there hasn't been any skating with all this rain. Hopefully there will be a break soon so we get some good sessions in...
